SFLI Refund Policy

The following policy applies to the normal sixteen-hour block courses:

In order to receive a refund, you must notify the Institute that you are withdrawing from the class and requesting a refund.  Registration fees are not refundable.

Full refunds of tuition will be made if the student has never attended class and has cancelled the first session in compliance with the cancellation policy on this web site.

Otherwise, tuition refunds will be pro-rated for withdrawals only through the second meeting of the class.  No refunds will be given after the second meeting of any class.  Forfeited classes will be counted as having been attended.

For example,  if a student has attended one class session and then decides an hour before the second session that he or she wants to withdraw, the student will be eligible for a refund of six unused sessions.  If the student has attended two classes and cancels the third session without adequate notice, he or she will  receive no refund.

Employer-paid courses policy.

No refund will be given for individual absences of the employer's students whether or not adequate notice is given.

No refunds of classes underway will be given except for material  non-performance by SFLI with reference to the agreement whether oral or written between SFLI and the employer.
